GAF Limited Warranties
GAF’s limited warranties is available in five levels of coverage:
GAF Shingle and Accessory Limited Warranty — When purchased individually, GAF products come with a standard warranty coverage that includes a 10-year Smart Choice® Protection Period coverage as well as a 15-year Wind Warranty Term for asphalt shingle products.
It also includes Maximum Wind Speed Coverage for wind damage caused by wind speeds up to 130 mph, if installed using a “special installation” process—something you don’t have to worry about when working with GAF certified roofers like us.
GAF Roofing System Warranty — This warranty level applies to GAF roofing systems that include any GAF shingle product and at least three qualifying accessory products. This upgrades the standard Maximum Wind Speed Coverage to no maximum wind limit.
System Plus Limited Warranty — This warranty level is a step up from the GAF Roofing System Warranty in terms of qualification—it must be installed by a GAF certified or Master Elite contractor—and upgrades the Smart Choice Protection Period up to 50 years. Coverage for roofing tear-off costs is also added.
Silver Pledge™ Limited Warranty — The Silver Pledge Limited Warranty is exclusively available through GAF Master Elite contractors like us. This is a major step up from System Plus Limited Warranty, as it features a 10-year workmanship warranty and coverage for disposal costs.
GAF Golden Pledge® Limited Warranty — GAF’s top-tier warranty is another GAF Master Elite contractor exclusive, and features a 25-year coverage on workmanship, among other upgrades.
